Bio
Christopher James Cannon was born in Redondo Beach, California on February 19, 1987. His mother, a ballet teacher and father, a jazz trumpeter, moved his family when he was in 1st grade to live in the Pacific Northwest. He calls home Vancouver, Washington. Throughout his childhood, Chris was an active dancer, actor and singer, and graduated from the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics in ’05. He attended Point Park University in downtown Pittsburgh and graduated in ’09 with a BFA in Musical Theatre. While in the Steel City, he worked with Tony Award winners, Broadway Legends including both the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera and Pittsburgh Public Theater. After moving to NYC for a career in the comedy world, he was offered a job with the acclaimed hit Australian show Puppetry of the Penis, which ran Off-Broadway for nine weeks, followed by a North American Tour and an L.A. engagement. He can also be seen in the new HBO pilot Boardwalk Empire. Chris resides in N.Y.C.
